We work under the goal of standardizing training for working dogs and their handlers as well as covering care costs once a dog is retired.
We appreciate your donation, which will go towards the upkeep of the Colorado Police K9 Association as well as events, and the health care costs of retired dogs. We thank you for your contribution – CPCA would not exist without you!
“K9 Boo served the Lakewood Police Department, West Metro Drug Task Force and the DEA’s Strike Force from 2008-2016. When a K9 retires most police departments transfer ownership to the handler, who also takes full responsibility for the K9’s care and medical bills.
The CPCA Retired K9 Health and Care Fund helped tremendously and led to a better quality of life for K9 Boo as she deserved after her years of service.”
